prices are in USD and payments are taken through PayPal or Venmo!! you may be granted a refund if the commission hasn't been started. if it has been started but cannot be finished, only a partial refund will be sent (depending on what stage the piece ends on)!! please message me privately to discuss a refund.

please do not ask for a refund as soon as you commission me. I am not a bank you can put $$ into and then take out when you need to! thank you.

I may refuse your commission request for any reason.

you are allowed to post your finished commission with credit on social media (Instagram, Twitter, etc.)!! please do not forget the credit!! posting an @ or a link to my website in the description of your post works!

I will only do edits to the sketch/lineart of the piece and not after shading unless the edit is important (missing marking, accessory, etc.)!

no artwork of mine commission or not may be made into an NFT!!

please provide a clear digital reference sheet for your commission request to be considered!! I will not work with traditional refs, sorry!!

I will provide sketches/WIPs when I have them available!!

please do not ask for updates constantly. I get very stressed out by this and I will always provide WIPs and progress updates once they are available!! and I will always await approval before continuing onward to another step (like sketching > lining)!!

I require all adopts and designs to be uploaded to toyhou.se!! toyhou.se is a website where you can upload your characters, their artwork, build worlds for them, etc. and is very helpful for saving your art of your character!! it also helps me keep track of who owns which designs, etc.! if you do not have an account, just let me know and I can give you a personal code to help you make your own account!!

please do not delete your character off toyhou.se!!

adopts/designs are to be paid for through PayPal invoices or Venmo unless otherwise stated!! OTAs, DTAs, etc. do not count.

please pay for your adopt/design within 48 hours. I sometimes do holds for adopts and I will state in the adopt post whether I will or will not for that specific design!! if I am not offering holds, please pay within 48 hours or else I will cancel the invoice/transaction agreement and the adopt will be re-listed for sale.

designs bought from me may be re-sold, gifted, or traded. please do not re-sell the design for more than originally purchased unless it comes with additional artwork (by you or commissioned).

please notify me if you are thinking about re-selling your adopt/design!! I can help you promo the design for sale by sharing it on social media (for example: on Instagram I can share your post on my Story)!!

if you obtained a character/design via trade, you may trade/gift that character or you may resell it but only for the worth of whatever you did for the trade (for example: if you did artwork and a character totaling $100 in worth for this trade, you may only sell it for $100)!!

you may edit a design from me as long as it's not too drastic and can still be recognized as the original.

I require you to still credit me for the original design!!

you cannot redesign the character/adopt into a new character and then sell the original without the redesign!! that would be splitting the design into two and would be unfair to both me and the buyer!

you may not change a closed/original species/character design into a different species (existing or not)!!

+$40 for custom backing cards (I can draw you a custom backing card for your pins and assemble your pins with the cards myself!! it will include credit to servalsurf for the pin (a logo) and the number of the pin!!

you must be 18 years or older to commission for me for fursuit work.

quotes are $3 each and you are required to have a quote from me before commissioning me.

for smaller items like tails and handpaws the total quote is required upfront for me to start on your commission!!

for bigger items like heads and mini partials I require a nonrefundable downpayment of 30% upfront and the rest can be paid off with a payment plan discussed by me and the client. payment plans can be no longer than 2-3 months.

I take payments via PayPal invoices (USD).

the 30% downpayment is nonrefundable and is required to purchase materials. this is deducted from your total refund amount.

if you need to cancel your commission a partial refund will be issued based on how much work I had completed for said commission.

competition time for smaller items like tails and handpaws is 1-2 months. for bigger items like heads and mini partials this can be 3+ months. all commissioners are updated if there are any delays (which can be due to materials shipping late, my physical and/or mental health, etc.).

I will require a deadline fee if you need your commission at/by a certain time/convention. if I am unable to honor this deadline agreement due to mental/physical health, personal life issues, etc. I will communicate with the client and refund that deadline fee.

commissioners are responsible for all shipping costs and custom fees if international (outside of the USA). fursuits are always insured when shipped via USPS.

bigger commissions like mini partials may be shipped in multiple boxes.

I am not responsible for any lost or damaged packages. please call USPS for help with locating your package. clients may also message me and I will do my best to help as well. I am not responsible for refunding lost or damaged suits.

I am also able to deliver commissions at conventions. please let me know when commissioning me if that is something you are interested in and we can discuss it.

each tail comes with by default two belt loops (made of belt material, not elastic) but other options may be available depending on the size and weight of your tail

handpaws are fully lined and by default go to the wrist!! elbow-length paws will cost more.

for now I will be using YBL's handpaw pattern (https://www.etsy.com/listing/838490379/puffy-fursuit-paw-pattern-pdf-download) for commissions.
